Echoes of Awareness

Know The Activity

No props. No voice. Just your hands, your face, and a team watching your every move trying to figure out what on earth you are trying to say. Echoes of Awareness is virtual charades, and it is exactly as chaotic, hilarious, and surprisingly competitive as it sounds. One player gets a word. No talking allowed. What follows is a glorious combination of wild gestures, desperate miming, and teammates shouting answers that are almost, but never quite, right. It is one of the oldest games in the world for a very good reason: it works. It breaks ice, builds laughter, and reminds even the most serious teams that sometimes the best thing you can do together is be completely ridiculous.

Group Size

Up to 100 People

LOCATION

Virtual

Duration

90 to 120 minutes

Why should you choose it?

Zero setup, zero equipment, zero excuses not to have a great time

Levels the playing field completely because charades does not care about your title or your tenure

Gets even the quietest participants off mute and into the moment faster than almost anything else

Works beautifully as a standalone activity or as an energiser woven into a longer virtual session

Guaranteed to produce at least one moment that the team will still be laughing about six months later

Result

By the time the final round wraps up, the team will have laughed together, suffered together, and celebrated together in the most unfiltered way a virtual format allows. Echoes of Awareness does not pretend to be more than it is: a genuinely fun game that brings people together and reminds them that their colleagues are, at the end of the day, wonderfully human. That reminder is worth more than most people realise.

Have any Questions?

Nothing beyond a working camera and a decent internet connection. The simplicity of the format is exactly what makes it so effective and accessible for every kind of team.

Participants are divided into teams and take turns sending a player up to mime while their teammates race to guess. The rotation keeps everyone involved and ensures that no one spends too long on the sidelines.

The word bank is curated to be inclusive, fun, and appropriately challenging, covering a mix of everyday objects, actions, pop culture references, and the occasional curveball that sends everyone into a spin.

The facilitated format, curated word bank, and structured rounds make the experience smoother, faster, and far more energising than a self-organised game. The difference between a good time and a great one is usually in how well it is run.
